As obvious as it is, I’m currently taking a break from writing on all my websites. Hopefully, I’ll resume this summer once my school work eases down and sports are completed. Thanks everyone!

Well now that track is heating up, I’m starting to run new PRs. Last weekend, I ran my first 1000m race in over a month and got a new PR (and school record) of 2:35.18. That’s 2.5 seconds better than my previous time, which is exciting. I wanted to run a little quicker, but that’s OK. I’ll take that for now.
Next Saturday is the Hockomock League championships. I’m seeded first in the 1000, but not by much. I’m also the defending champion, so I’ve got major pressure to make it 2 in a row. People online are calling for an upset, but I’ll do everything in my power to stay true to seeds.
I’ll be going for Andy Powell’s meet record of 2:36.00. He was a fantastic runner a few years ago and currently coaches in Oregon. I’ll be sure to update once I’ve run a couple more times. Besides, I’m currently #28 in the nation! Woo!
When I was younger, I went to Niagara Falls at least once. My family went with another family to see the falls, check out Canada, and just take some time off from life. I absolutely loved it because we got to go up in the revolving restaurant that overlooks the falls. There is nothing cooler than looking down from 30+ stories at amazing water falls!
For those of you that have not been fortunate enough to check out Niagara Falls, a tour company named Trusted Tours & Attractions has a special package just for you! They have great Niagara Falls tours right on their website! Right now, there are three different tours called American Adventure Tour, Niagara Falls VIP Tour, and the Canadian Rainbow Tour. Check out which one looks the most appealing for you and your family.
You can sign up online and start your sightseeing tours in the very near future. Right now, they’re even running a promotion where you can win a handheld GPS unit! All you have to do is sign up for their newsletter right off their website.
If you’re looking to get out for a little while, enjoy a nice vacation tour with Trusted Tours. It’s inexpensive and they offer tours all over the US!
Now that I’m half way through my school year, it’s time for mid terms! Most of this week, I’ll be studying and taking mid terms at school. The good thing is that I get to leave whenever I’m done and arrive only for the tests I have to take!
This is my schedule for my exams:
Tuesday - Consumer Education
Wednesday - Trig and Chemistry
Thursday - English
Friday - Spanish and History
The week is nice because I won’t receive much homework, but I still have to study and all that fun stuff. Maybe I’ll have some additional time to make posts, look at the market, etc.
Have you been thinking about getting some new stationary, envelopes, or postcards? Why bother going to your local Hallmark when you have the internet on your side?
VistaPrint is an online company that offers various services from postcard printing to rubber stamps and business cards! In order to design your own postcard, you have to follow a few steps. First, you have to select which of the two styles you want. Next, you must use a design template or create you own! Then, put in your order and BAM, it’ll be in your mailbox within the week.
The pricing isn’t too shabby. You can order 100 cards for just under 25 dollars. Quantities go all the way up to 1500 cards in one shot. This is particularly interesting to postcard collectors. I know plenty of people who like to keep unique cards that they pick up on international trips. Now they can make their own to go with their collection!
So if you’re looking to get any form of stationary, take a peak at VistaPrint before you head out the door. They offer the best printing for the best price. I mean seriously, they even offer logo uploads for cards of all types. Please note that this is a sponsored post for PPP and VistaPrint.
So yes, my stock market escapades are continuing. I’m prepped and ready for the beginning of my life long struggle with the market. I’m about to open a brokerage account online for future trades once it gets funded etc.
I chose to go with Zecco because it is very simple for the beginning investor. It has a nice interface reminiscent of Web 2.0 style, too! Because I’m only going to be focusing on stock trades, this remains my best option. If I keep $2,500 in the account, I get 30 free trades a month. Any more are only $4.95.
Compared to the big names like Fidelity and TD Ameritrade, that’s a good deal! I’ll be posting my adventures on here, such as when I make my first investments. I’m currently eyeing mainly technology companies because that’s what I know best. Will it be Garmin? Apple? Netgear? Who knows!
Let the markets hear me roar!
I came out pretty lucky, but a few members of my family are basically blind. And they’ll let you know that it only gets worse with age. Of course, they’re not really blind, but instead need prescription glasses.
Problem is that glasses aren’t cheap! I’ve made a Great Discovery: $ 8 Zenni Optical Rx Eyeglassess! Zennioptical offers cheap prescription glasses online. According to Zenni, they can offer such low prices because they online sell their own manufactured frames. This eliminates all middlemen and higher prices!
While I do not wear glasses, a lot of people do. Cheap prices on glasses can let them buy other things for their lives. Enjoy! Please note that this is a sponsored post for PPP and Zennioptical.
I have an obsessive personality, I’ll admit it. I go from obsession to obsession with ridiculous passion. I use this to my advantage in most situations however.
My latest obsession is the stock market. The concept of something so simple, yet so complicated fascinates me to no end. For Christmas, I received a book about the stock market, which I have almost finished reading cover to cover. Not only has it fueled my interest, but I’m preparing to make some of my very first portfolio investments.
The book I’m reading is The Neatest Little Guide to Stock Market Investing by Jason Kelly. I highly recommend it! He keeps it simple and interesting.
Because I now comprehend my inability to update more than two blogs at once, the idea of opening my own finance blog has been shot down. This means that I may be posting stock market related posts on Awkward Alliteration. Hopefully that will only boost my current content! I’m approaching the 1000 post market quite rapidly as it is!
Over and out.
As we all know, a good chunk of my time outside of running and school revolves around technology. I rely on it for almost everything, but have you ever stopped to think about what technology relies on? Batteries.
Yes, every tech devices incorporates some use of batteries or electricity. From cell phone batteries to watch batteries, they’re everywhere! But where should you get your batteries from? AllBatts is a new website that deals solely with batteries for almost every type of consumer device.
You can find replacements for batteries for almost any gadget known to mankind. Personally, I may be using these guys to replace my old Dell laptop battery! I found a fairly cheap battery that I might end up purchasing. I guarantee you that you will be able to find anything for your old phone or even your new laptop, etc. Just take a look.
Go ahead and fulfill all your technology and battery needs! Please note that this is a sponsored post for PPP and AllBatts.
Wow I really haven’t written on this site for a long time! Junior year is a little bit harder than I thought. Much more of a time drainer than last year. Since today is a snow day, I’ll attempt to catch up a bit while posting some PPP ads since I need some money.
Not too much has been going on other than track and school. School is going by very slowly, but now that we’re in the new year, maybe it’ll pick up. Track is moving very quickly. We’re already half way through the winter season!
My current times are decent, but I am yet to run in Reggie Lewis. I ran my first relay races of the year yesterday there. I ran an 800 in 2:00 and a 400 in :52. That’s not too bad for right now and running poor races. I want to see what that becomes by the end of spring!
Hopefully that quenches your thirst for what’s been going on slightly. I’ll be posting a few more times today and hopefully this week!
You’d have to be absolutely blind to not notice the recent rise in user generated content. For instance, it wouldn’t be inaccurate to say we live in the Youtube era! With the internet only getting faster, online video content is becoming a booming opportunity. Not only is this growing, but so is the entertainment factor! I’ve probably watched thousands of online videos when I’ve been bored.
YawpBox, an online video community, is now running its own TV program made using uploaded videos. This means that if you upload a video to their website of something funny, entertaining, or ridiculous, you could be featured on their program!
There are no better people than the general public to make videos. There are so many of us, which means we’re bound to come up with something humorous. In my countless video escapades, my favorite probably has to be the ever popular “Muffins”. It serves no point, but has me chuckling every time I see it.
YawpBox let’s you create your own footage for large audiences. If you make something that you want plenty of people to see and comment on, then upload it now! It’s free and fun, what more could you ask for?
They’re also running something called the Lex & Terry challenge. The challenge is much like homework for the nation wide radio show. They direct audience members to create content online for your viewing pleasure. Just head over to their site and peak at the categories on the challenge’s section. Highly entertaining.
If you’re looking for some nice entertainment that doesn’t cost anything, head on over to YawpBox.
I’ve got lots of track meets left! Here is my schedule for the next few months:
2/2/08 - Coaches Invitational Meet - RLAC
2/3/08 - Coaches Elite Meet - RLAC
2/9/08 - Hockomock League Championship - RLAC
2/15/08 - MA Division II Championship - RLAC
2/22/08 - MA All State Meet - RLAC
2/29/08 - New England Championships - RLAC
3/15/08 - Nike Indoor Nationals - Washington D.C.
I need to qualify for some of the final events, so those are only possible meets, not with me definitely attending. I still have up to 2 months left of running indoors!
Sorry that it has been almost a month since I’ve written on here. Things have been pretty crazy, but I do hope to continue my writing. Besides, I need the money desperately! Today is the last day in 2007. Time certainly flies in certain respects. I remember moving to the US just over a year ago and seeing the ball drop on TV.
Here’s to a successful 2008.
Beach cruiser bikes was a fad that peaked in the 1950s and 60s but is possibly making a great comeback. Beach cruiser bikes are known to be heavy duty with rather large tires. They’re made to be comfortable and are fairly simple with only one gear. Today’s beach cruiser can be customized like never before! Schwinn pioneered the beach bike in the 30s, but now many companies are coming back with bigger and better versions. They’re simply made so people can relax and enjoy the scenery while getting some great exercise.
XYZ Bikes is a beach cruiser company looking to make things cheaper and better for everyone. They believe that simple bikes should cost under $100, making them a great Christmas gift for your own beach comber. They allow you to create your own bike design with design labels! They have a vast catalog along with a nice detailed blog.
On their site, there are many sections in the catalog. There are classic bike cruisers, men’s cruisers, women’s cruisers, chopper cruisers, and more! A large majority of them are quite affordable at just over $80. They’d make a great gift for someone who lives near a beach or frequently goes to the beach during the summer.
So go ahead and check out their catalog to see all the beach cruiser bicycles possible. If you want to learn more, go check out their blog. They’re a nice small company that gets closer to the consumer. They detail their products on the blog along with giving you some tips etc. If you’re looking for a gift idea, or you’re just interested in different types of biking, check out beach cruising bikes and try one out. It’s not an expensive hobby, and looks like a lot of fun! I definitely want to try this one day to see how hard it is. Please note that this is a sponsored post for PPP and XYZ Bikes.
This is just an update on my Django work. As I have posted in the past, I’ve become interested in mainstream web development and made my start by creating a Django powered site to rest at nwade.com. I haven’t gotten it working yet, but Media Temple has enabled their Django container.
I’m waiting for the official Django book to arrive before I really get things rolling. I want to brush up on everything considering I haven’t worked with a programming language for almost a month! The book will give me something to do over the Christmas break I suppose. That and running.
The book itself shipped today after months worth of delays. I’m pretty excited. I’ll post a nice review over on Brnzwngs, most likely. Well that’s about it, I just wanted everyone to know that I haven’t given up, just taking a brief break due to school work overload!
Are you looking to purchase a new car or truck, but just don’t have the money? The normal solution would be to take out a loan, but for those with poor credit, that’s nearly impossible!
Auto Loans Mania is an online company offering auto loan services to people across the nation regardless of credit history, credit score, or previous approval history. For people who need a car but just can’t get approved by big loan companies, this is a savior!
They specialize in helping people with problematic credit and promise your satisfaction. It costs absolutely nothing to apply online, and they typically do not require a large down payment! They will work with you on an individual basis to determine the best approach for your needs. Go ahead and get Auto Financing Loans now!
Please note that this is a sponsored post for PPP and Auto Loans Mania.
Winter track is getting going and I’m forced to get back into the running habit after a long break while I was sick. Training is pretty hardcore right now, being full of 200m workouts and circuit training. This whole dynamic training program is making me ridiculously sore. Hopefully it’ll be worth it in the end.
My Nike Turbulence shoes are wearing down, so I purchased a new pair of trainers. I wanted something different, so I decided to go for Pearl Izumi. They have a rather controversial ad campaign running in Runners World and it intrigued me. I bought the Shine shoes and they look good so far. I got them in the Moab color, which I think is hilarious because I usually have ugly shoes. They’re seamless on the inside so I’ll be blister free.

I also bought the Marware sensor+ pouch so I can use my Nike+ kit with my new shoes. Hopefully I’ll be getting the Amp+ watch to go along with it for Christmas. I need to recalibrate my new sensor, because I’ve been having some issues with that, but that should work itself out in a little bit.
Well I’m off to do some homework. I hate school.
Director Tim Burton (best known for creating Sleepy Hallow, Nightmare Before Christmas, etc) is releasing his next big film, Sweeney Todd.
The overlying theme of this epic movie is revenge. It truly shows how revenge can severely corrupt even the most honest of men. In the movie, the main character is one of the best example of a great human. He has a great life and remains honest to his wife and himself. Things turn sour when a high ranking official turns him in for a crime he did not commit. As a consequence, he spends a large chunk of his life in jail.
One of the best scenes on the film’s website shows him vowing vengeance on the wrong doers right when he returns to his old home. It starts the suspense for the rest of the movie where he becomes a serial killer fueled by revenge.
Overall, the film is about an honest man found guilty for a crime he did not do. He is a barber, and once he gets out of jail, he vows revenge on his foe. In the end, he turns into a serial killer and chooses to murder people using a single flat blade. It may be gory, but it sure looks good.
If you’re thinking this is interesting, visit the official Sweeney Todd movie site. You can also visit Sweeney Todd on Myspace!
Happy Thanksgiving! I’m sitting, waiting for the food to be ready, but guess what? I may have mono! I’ve been sick for the past week and finally decided to get to the doctor’s because the back of my head was hurting. The doctor is pretty sure that I have mono because my lymph nodes are huge and my liver is possibly swollen. I went to get blood work done, whose results should come in fairly soon.
Anyways, I can’t wait for the food even if I don’t have much of an appetite. Yes to cranberry sauce and stuffing! This year we even bought Shoo Fly Pie from Miller’s Smorgasbord in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. We have company arriving shortly, so in the mean time I’m watching a combination of Comedy Central and the Macy’s Day Parade. I felt that I might as well blog about something since my Google Page Rank was butchered recently. Oh well.
That’s about it for now. Happy Thanksgiving to you!

Oh man was this a weekend. Yesterday was the Massachusetts All-State Cross Country meet in Gardner, MA. Of course, with my luck, I woke up with a sore throat and a headache. I probably had a fever at this point because I did later. I knew I wanted to run because I’m one of the first two kids from my school to go to this meet in 16 years.
So I ran the race feeling like crap. I got 46th place in 15:28 on a 2.9 mile course. Definitely not my best race and it didn’t help that it was the toughest course I’ve ever run. I’m just glad I did it. Once I got home, I slept for about 20 hours and continue to feel like crap and had a 101 degree fever. I’m just happy cross country is over. Winter track time! Well, cross country with the school at least.
Next week I have Footlocker Northeast National Qualifiers. I get to go down to New York to run where northeast junior olympics were held way back in time!
That’s really it for now, I’m just laying around all day.
Well, I’ve been brainstorming. And…
slogan: running out of everything but nothing. I don’t know, it’s not like I actually need one.

Wow, it seems as if a lot of good movies have been coming out recently. A great addition to the recent movies is Stephen King’s “The Mist”. It appears to be a phenomenal suspense thriller that comes out on November 21st. I’ve seen the previews in theaters, and it looks amazing!
Stephen King has got to be an interesting guy to come up with such twisted plots. I haven’t read a ton of his works, but one of my favorite books by him is “The Shining”, simply because it was so outrageously clever, that it left me thinking about how anyone could come up with such a plot.
As for “The Mist”, it’s about a group of people who become trapped in a market while the outside is surrounded in a dense mist. It seems that there are monsters hidden in the depths of the mist, but they just don’t know how many there are or what they are. You definitely have to go watch the trailer! I’m pretty excited for this movie to come out. I love scary movies that are also suspenseful!
So go ahead and check out the trailer of The Mist by Stephen King. It looks like it will be rather entertaining!
I’ve come to notice that I’m a rather obsessive person. While continuing my current programming obsession, I’ve recently taken on a new one. This one being possibly getting my pilot’s license in the near future. I mean really, you only have to be 17! Way back when I was 12, I was taking lessons for flying, but the price combined with moving didn’t let me do too much.
I’ve been thinking about how awesome it would be to be able to fly. You don’t even need to own a plane! Renting is fairly cheap and just as fun. Of course my mom doesn’t think its safe etc, but from all the reading I’ve done, it’s a whole lot safer than what is believed. I’ll keep pushing for it because I think it would be a great hobby to have along with a nice sign of personal motivation for college transcripts.
Just think how sweet it would be to be able to say, “I think I’m gonna go for a quick flight” when someone asks you what you’re doing on the weekend. I’ll keep you updated on the progress of that! Who knows, maybe aeronautical engineering will become of more interest to me…

I’m sick. After yesterday’s race, I got a horrible headache that just wouldn’t go away. That, in combination with a mega chemistry lab, just made me want to die. So I just stayed home today. I’m still feeling a bit weird, but I can’t afford to miss more school, so I will be sure to go to school tomorrow.
My chemistry lab was a beastly 14 pages. If we had to do all the sections, it would probably be a good 30 pages. Have I ever mentioned I hate school? Well, I got it done last night anyways, so it doesn’t matter. I have another one due on Friday.
I was fairly productive today. I edited the lab, I did some research for some programming, did some blogging, and then programmed. I just felt like this site needed an update. Well I’m off to go do something. Over and out.
I plan to start up my own website sometime at the end of this week. The main reason for this is for me to make some money, to start off with Google Adsense and then PPP. But also because I would like to start up some simple blogging. This is the first time I’m actually thinking of starting thinking of a site and I’ve decided to actually do something rather than to have a site just to have a site. Out of my brainstorm so far, I have thought of doing something on the Philosophical Sense, Something to do with Psychology and I need a third ’something’.
The website name was made up through well, the fact that I couldn’t think of anything original, so I came up with anythingoriginal.com. It’s catchy and easy to remember. And I’ll come up with a slogan sooner or later.
I’m also planning to use it for my Global Citizen project, a project I will be working on from now till May.
The Global Citizenship Maturity Test (GCMT) is a project set up by a United Nations NGO and overseen by the Finnish UN Association. It aims to promote self-directed learning and international education and forms a key element of the General Studies programme at BSN. Rationale: “The objective of the program is to fulfil the educational goals of the United Nations, UNESCO, and Finland’s UN Association by adding discussion to issues of peace, development, human rights, culture, environment, economy, refugees, women and children, minorities, superpower questions, and citizens’ mutual responsibility, among others. The program’s main objective is to strengthen personality development towards a mature adult life and to reinforce self-directed, critical learning. The educational theory behind the program is based primarily on a humanistic and cognitive educational approach to education, as well as on the self-directed learning theory. The study program emphasizes self-directed learning process and activates many different methods of research.”

So I’ve been doing a lot of reading recently. Of course, it’s all geeky, but that doesn’t matter. I recently bought a new Python book Core Python Programming: Second Edition. It has officially opened the gates of programming to my eyes. Books always help me learn quicker and easier than online books, so this is the road I take.
The other books that I’m currently sharing time with include:
- The Django Book
- CSS Mastery
- The Official Python Tutorial
I’m well on my way towards become a Computer Science geek. Must learn faster!
Have you recently bought flooring online? If so, were you also denied a warranty claim? iFLOOR to your rescue! iFLOOR is offering a $1,000,000 warranty to help customers who are in the same boat.
All that they ask is the right to seek legal justice for their customers. Go ahead and check out their site. You’ll find every type of floor you’ve dreamed your house would have; from hardwood to cork!
Here is their press release:
iFLOOR, America’s largest online flooring retailer, today announced a $1,000,000 limited warranty designed to protect its customers from predatory manufacturer policies that exclude warranty coverage from online purchases.
The policy, which goes into effect immediately, offers up to one million dollars of coverage in the event that a customer’s warranty claim is denied specifically because they made their purchase online. It is complimentary for every iFLOOR customer, and protects the buyer under the same terms as the original product warranty.
iFLOOR, Inc. CEO, Steve Simonson, came up with the program to combat “scare tactics” used by manufacturers of hardwood floors and laminate flooring. “Their idea is to discourage you from buying at a discount!” wrote Simonson in his blog “It’s About Flooring”. “This is not right! You deserve to save money! So we’re going to take care of this problem once and for all.”
And it would appear that federal law is on his side. Section 108 of the 1975 Magnuson-Moss Act, states that, “In general, tie-in sales provisions are not allowed. Such a provision would require a purchaser of the warranted product to buy an item or service from a particular company to use with the warranted product in order to be eligible to receive a remedy under the warranty.”
Under iFLOOR’s new warranty, a key provision allows for iFLOOR to “seek justice” on behalf of the customer in the event of legal action. According to Simonson, “I’m putting iFLOOR’s money where my mouth is.”
About iFLOOR, Inc.
Since 1998, iFLOOR.com has been the leading online and retail flooring company, with 36 local retail stores nationwide offering more than 70,000 products, including hardwood floors, laminate flooring, bamboo flooring and cork floors. iFLOOR.com is the largest online flooring retailer according to Internet Retailer Magazine, and was named by Inc. Magazine as one of the fastest growing private companies in the United States for the past three years. Committed to quality customer service, superior selection and friendly expert advice, iFLOOR.com enables customers to buy flooring both online and in its retail stores at a substantial savings over traditional retailers. Well Leopard finally arrived. I don’t have much homework to do, so I can get the learning curve over with. My first impression is that it’s very nice. Much nicer than Vista. I had a few scares with the upgrade not working, but after some quick research, was able to fix it.
I posted a nice in depth article about my impressions on Brnzwngs. Feel free to read that. I recently put up some ads on there. It’s a small experiment to see what sort of revenue it brings in. So far, not that much, but I redid the design of them in hopes that it may work. If nothing amounts, I’ll just remove them.
Oh and Saw 4 was a decent move, but not as good as I thought it could have been. Plenty of gore though! It sets up for a phenomenal Saw 5!
Have you ever noticed how much the media has been playing up diseases like Alzheimer’s recently? It has really become a major debate topic along with obesity and cancer. If you’re concerned, then pay close attention.

Happy Halloween!
I almost forgot that it was Halloween. Shame on me! In order to celebrate, I’m going to watch Saw 4 tonight. I love the Saw series. Well I wish you all fun in trick-or-treating! I wish I wasn’t too old for it now…Free candy is the best kind of candy.
I even got to play a Halloween game at XC practice. How crazy is that? I had starburst for the first time in a long time!

Are you in the business for web design? Have you created a site that needs a newer, fresher look? If you’re like me and suck at coding CSS, then pay attention.
352 Media is an Atlanta web design company. They serve clients in every region of the country with major offices in Georgia and Florida. They have sales offices in New York, Seattle, Los Angeles, Detroit, Ann Arbor, and Jacksonville. They’ve won many awards, proving that they are worth your business. They have their own style that makes them different from the rest.
I haven’t decided yet, but I’m considering getting some future web applications professionally designed. I can program, but I certainly can’t design. I’ll be keeping these guys in mind. You should too! Please note that this is a sponsored post.
I haven’t posted much about my running schedule, so here’s a little update. Practice at school continues to be composed of ridiculous work outs and long runs where coach stalks us to see if we’re slacking. There are only a few weeks left until winter track begins! 1000m all the way!
This weekend is the MIAA Coach’s Invitational. Probably about 90% of the teams in Massachusetts will be attending making it a very nice race. It’s on the same course that I ran on last weekend. The finish makes it great for a PR.
The week after that is States! It’s back in Boston at Franklin Park. I’m looking to run a new PR for sure and make sure I qualify for All States. Top 10 individual runners excluding ones from qualifying teams. My team would have a chance to qualify if it weren’t for the fact that we lack a 5th runner. Our top 4 is fairly solid, but then we hit a brick wall.
Then, there’s All States, assuming I qualify. It’s on a golf course in Gardner. No guy from my school has made it for a long time! I’m just hoping to survive this one.
Finally, there’s Foot Locker Northeast qualifiers. I’m hoping to make it into the seeded heat even though I’ll be minutes off the top 10. They qualify for Nationals, I’ll gain experience.
Then ends the season. Bring on Indoor!
Grandfather clocks always make a nice addition to any sort of home. I live in a colonial style house with a fairly modern inside, and our grandfather clock fits in perfectly. It’s an old, brown one, but well loved. It has been handed down for generations and definitely has its own character. When I get my own house, I’ll probably have my own!
I really like this contemporary clock from 1-800-4clocks. Take a look at it here: Howard Miller Cosmopolitan Grandfather Clock. In my own home, I’d put it in my living room, right in a corner opposite of a television to balance the room. It’s nice and modern, yet very distinctive. My type of clock, definitely!
On the Grandfather clocks blog, I learned some interesting things about the clocks. For instance, did you know that the latin phrase “Tempus Fugit“, which appears on many clocks, actually means time flies? I didn’t! If you’d like to learn more go ahead and check out the grandfather clocks section on 1-800-4clocks!
I never knew that there was such a budding interest in grandfather clocks! They all have their own stories and history. I’m officially inspired enough to find out more about the one that sits in my living room! Please note that this is a sponsored post for Payperpost and 1-800-4clocks.
Boston Red Sox: 2007 World Series Champions!

I told you that it would happen. Second time in a long time! I just hope they don’t become the next New York Yankees…Don’t take A-Rod!
Fine art is something that you learn to appreciate with time once you decide to give it your full attention. I’ll never be a artist, but I respect those who are and who become successful because of art.
Park West Gallery is the largest collection of fine art in the entire world. They’re known for conducting major fine art auctions throughout the United States and Canada. Anyone who knows about fine art will instantly recognize their name. They have an affiliate company named Park West at Sea. They conduct cruise ship art auctions around the world. I’ve seen art auctions on cruises before, which makes me wonder if they were run by Park West. Who knows?
So if you’re an art connoisseur, make sure you check out Park West! Please note that this is a sponsored post.
Google Page Rank is quite possibly the most important website popularity measure known to mankind. Every page on the internet has one, even if its just zero. Recently, there was a major overhaul of it that left every site with a different value. Many sites dropped, resulting in some major complaints, but mine did fairly well. Here is the current status of mine:
Awkward Alliteration: Before: 2 After: 2
Brnzwngs: Before: 2 After: 3
An Epic Quest: Before: 3 After: 1
Epimy: Before: 0 After: 2
Nwade: Before: unranked After: 0
That means that the total of the ranks increased by 1. Not too much of a difference, but enough for now. I basically abandoned AEQ, so I’m not very worried about that. Once I release nwade.com on the Django framework, that rank will go up quickly, so that’s another point.
So yeah, my ranks aren’t that high, but they’ll suffice.
After seeing a good chunk of my house get redone recently, I think I am rather comfortable saying that there are so many small things that must be taken care of both before and after the big things. For instance, a commonly overlooked home furnishing would be sinks.
A faucet is something small, yet can make or break a room or kitchen. Lucky for you, faucet.com offers tons of different sinks, including bar sinks. They have name brands, fast delivery, and cheap prices. There are tons of styles and finishes for you to choose from, so you’ll always find a match for your design.
If you’re looking for some ideas on what to choose or just want to take a look, visit the Info Center. Whether it be bar sinks or just a plain faucet, this is your one place stop to get things finished up in your house. It’s amazing how much of a difference they make! Latest Music:
I go through stages of liking different bands. These are the artists that I’ve been listening to a lot recently.
Jimmy Eat World - They just released a new album that I like
Thrice - Loving the old stuff, but their new stuff is only mediocre. Too deep.
Straylight Run - A nice tangent from Taking Back Sunday. Sometimes too light.
Saosin - I love Anthony Green. Older is better.
You can just look at what I’ve been really listening to at last.fm/user/brnzwngs. Music keeps me going.
When you get into the corporate world, many new things arise that must be taken care of before you start. One major thing is bonds. JW Bond Consultants makes surety bonds easy for people. A surety bond is a guarantee that acts as a sort of credit instead of insurance. They’ll help run you through the entire process of getting one.
One specific industry that needs bonds is the auto dealership industry. If you run a used dealership or a new one, you must take care of that issue. Car Dealers need to get commercial bonds. It is a license and permit bond required by most states in order to operate a dealership. It essentially guarantees the dealer’s rights and rules. Those with good credit will be able to get low rates, but there are also high risk programs. JW Bond Consultants will walk you through all the steps needed. Just ask for the only quote that will give you results instantly.
The JW Bond website gives all the information on how to get bonded. The FAQ section is also very helpful if you don’t know where to start. So if you’re in any industry and don’t know about bonding, the JW might be a great place to start! The business world can be so complicated sometimes…Please note that this is a sponsored post.
The Red Sox are up 3-0 in the 2007 World Series with the 4th game starting tonight. I’m a Sox fan, so I’m obviously pretty stoked. Will they win it in 4? Will they win it in 5? Will the Rockies miraculously come back and shock the nation? Who knows. While it’s great that they’re dominating right now, it doesn’t make for the most interesting Series ever…
Everything has been clicking for them lately. I’d love to see them win, but I want it to be an exciting victory. Josh Beckett will be back to pitch tomorrow in the event of a loss tonight. Him and Papelbon have been on fire during the last two series of games. The Sox bullpen could not be any stronger right now. That’s quite possibly, where the Rockies are weak.
It’s basically a team of locals vs. a MLB powerhouse team. While it is great to root for the underdogs, it’s nice to see the local team win. It’s a great time to be a New England sports fan. The Sox, the Pats, and the Celtics are all on runs of victory.
The holidays are really coming up fast. It’s already the end of October! In two more months, it will almost be 2008! Now that I just got myself worked up about Christmas and such, there are some things that you may want to consider this year. One of those is the possible switching to LED Christmas lights.
With all this hype about global warming and such, it has been pointed out that incandescent lights are not the best for the job. LED bulbs are the perfect replacements. LED lights use 1/10th of the energy of normal bulbs. They cause virtually no extra heat, which could save some lives because there are so many fires from Christmas lights. The epoxy plastic that surrounds the bulbs is basically indestructible, meaning that you never have to worry about breaking them.
A recent report states that if 1 out of every 5 American families switched to LED lights for 30 days, it would save over 400GWh of electricity! That is absolutely ridiculous! So go ahead and pick up a replacement for your own family and help the environment and keep them safe. Please note that this is a sponsored post for PPP and Holiday LEDs.
Today I won my first cross country invitational ever. It was the Hockomock League Invitational in Wrentham, so it was a nice local one to win. There weren’t many teams, but I’m proud nonetheless. I finished with a time of 16:33 (still unofficial though). That’s a PR for a 5K. I’m still hoping to get down to 16:0x though. I’ve got Coaches Invitational and States to do it.
Today was possibly the worst weather though. It was pouring up until the race start. When the gun went off, it wasn’t too bad though. I looked like I had wrestled a mud shark, but I was still happy. My mile splits were 5:09 at the one mile and 10:30 at the two mile.
If you want to follow the North Attleboro XC teams, then you can visit http://northrunning.com. It is mainly the girls team, but there are also some references to the guys.
